Dr. Zach Morcom is a Calgary native who grew up playing every sport he could including lacrosse, football, hockey, volleyball and snowboarding. His active childhood led to his fair share of injuries, which is where he was first introduced to chiropractic medicine.
He loved how quickly chiropractic care was able to get him back to feeling and performing his best. His active childhood led to a passion for understanding and optimizing the human body and movement, which is why he chose to pursue an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary before travelling to Portland Oregon to become a Doctor of Chiropractic.
While in Portland Zach was president of the R2P club on campus, a club which focused on bridging the gap between rehab and performance training and helping people to move optimally. While receiving his doctorate Zach also attended numerous continuing education courses including Mckenzie Diagnostic Technique (MDT), Neurodynamics, instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), and several other courses focused on helping patients achieve their health and fitness goals.
Zach realizes that no two patients are the same and focuses his practice on finding the correct tools to get his patients back to where they want to be, whether they are an avid athlete, weekend warrior, or simply wanting to feel their best.
When he is not working enjoys spending his free time lifting weights, hiking, snowboarding, biking and spending time with his friends and family.
